Why I Do What I Do

For those of you out there who are unfamiliar with my work, I am commonly known as the master of all things music related, but I will also accept being called the Music Guru. I strive endlessly and torture my ears on a regular basis in order to bring you guys the best new music out there. This blog came to existence, because one day I was listening to yet another one of the mainstream songs that aren’t worth a grain of salt (I have since repressed the very existence of this song, and no longer remember what it was), which resulted me reaching my snapping point. I decided that if I would have to sit through this persistent wave of shitty music, that I would not remain silent, but instead publicly voice my opinions so that every single individual would have access to my perspectives (a.k.a. the light at the end of this dismal tunnel). So now I have taken it upon myself to sit at my laptop every week and string together a perceptive analyzation of a different musical creation that would make even Jesus weep in happiness.

I’m sure a select few of you readers have musical tastes that aren’t completely revolting, so if you ever feel like there is a new album that is in dire need of my scrutinization, then feel free to leave me a message and I’ll be sure to promptly read it. That isn’t to say that I will in fact check out your suggested album, because let’s face it, when it comes to music most of you don’t know your ass from your elbow. However, if you’re lucky and I feel generous, then I might listen to the album and even do a post about it.

Writing a blog isn’t the most effective way to spread my wisdom throughout the world, but short of spending my hard earned money to make a commercial filled with swears and actions that would probably never be aired due to their offensive nature, this is unfortunately the best I can do. Blogs are a dime-a-dozen, so what is it about my blog that should convince you to continue reading it on a regular basis? Intelligence! I, unlike the majority of the blog authors out there, have a measurable amount of intelligence towards the topic that I am writing about. Don’t believe me? Then go back and read my first blog “Tucker Talks: Black Panties Edition”, then listen to R. Kelly’s album, and try and tell me that it isn’t a stain on the music industry’s carpet of mediocrity. Can’t do it can you? Hopefully you now understand that I am trying to save the general music loving population of the world from a slow and painful death of having to listen to shitty music for the rest of their life. My blog gathers inspiration from another genius music critic known as Buckley, as well as from the idea of “common sense”. If you ever feel like my blog isn’t quite giving you your daily dose of sanity, then by all means head over to his youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9kMnSZQd53hE-1sb1f9sdA. Between my blog and Buckley’s channel, I hope that we can cure a sizeable portion of the public from their utterly horrifying tastes in music.
